My original journal friends list links me to mostly people I know in real life. I've started this parallel one to journal thoughts I'd prefer they weren't privy to and also to meet strangers and explore my interests.

I have been happily corresponding with penpals since I was seven years old. I enjoy communicating with people from everywhere and have had penpals from Brazil, Argentina, Australia, all over Europe, Kenya, Japan and Siberia. Over the years they have dropped by the wayside one by one and now I have only a few left. I think I ought to nudge my pastime into the 21st century.Hence this.

I'm interested in people from all walks of life, most especially from overseas.

Things I enjoy: watching movies, reading books, visiting municipal aquariums, spying on people in my neighborhood, baking, playing fishie with my cat, walking everywhere, swimming for hours, sledding down hills, and heaps of other things.

Please feel free to add me to your friends list, but keep in mind that I am well into my thirties and most likely may be entirely too old to have much in common with you if you are more than ten years my junior and therefore probably won't be added back. Nothing personal.

If you are a serial adder or if my interests are gibberish to you, please don't add me to your stockpile of friends, I am interested in quality over quantity.
